Just behind Anatoli lies the mountain Estavromenos. There’s a small dirt road from the main road towards Males going up the mountain to the church, also Estavromenos The top is at 961m above sea-level from where you have amazing views of the entire area. Halfway up is the little church Agia Paraskevi.
You can drive (in winter/spring better with an 4WD) or walk up, enjoying the beautiful views and wild, rocky surroundings. There is a path going to the top from close to the little church Agia Pareskevi that goes around the left of the top. It goes up the hill, follows a small stream, then goes through an open area until you get to the road that you can follow to the top.
One of my favorites places to go for a hike. I believe the pictures say it all!
Or drive to the right side from where you have fantastic views towards Thrypti mountains and even Mirabello bay. The whole right and back side of the top is great for walking. It’s also possible to walk down to the gorge of Kalamafka from here.
