The beach is well protected from the wind and has many tamarisk trees to sit in the shade. There are umbrellas and sunbeds for rent, tavernas and showers. It lies between the (also very nice) beaches of Agia Fotia and Mavros Kolymbos in a little bay surrounded by cliffs and pine trees and is usually pretty quiet. Just before you get to the beach, there is a little parking place on the right side of the road from where you can look down on the beach.
How to get there:
Coming from Ierapetra, after driving through Ferma and Agia Fotia, you’ll find a small parking area on the right side of the road, just before the road turns left. From there you have a great view of the beach below. There’s a parking area straight in front of the beach.
